The entire twelve acre Viking Cove venue, including the guest homes, the “barn”, surrounding property and beach cove is available for your event. There are six separate accommodations in differing configurations that can sleep up to 20 people. The actual event and property may occupy 250 or more, depending on the type of event. The “barn” is approximately 2500 sq. ft. with 4 large farmhouse style tables. Rental items (including dishware, flatware and chairs and chair covers, props, decorations, etc.) are available for your event. It is entirely up to you to create the look you wish for the space but there is an agreement with guidelines that will need to be signed prior.
Orca Cabin: a private luxury two bedroom cabin nestled in the woods with a path leading directly to the Viking Cove beach. Full kitchen, living room, wi-fi. Two queen beds and a futon couch.
House #1 Raven: a luxury second floor studio apartment with full kitchen, bathroom, wi-fi. gorgeous view. Two queen beds.
House #1 Chinook: a 2 bedroom ground floor apartment with a kitchenette, bathroom, wi-fi, deck, gorgeous view. King bed in one bedroom, two queens in the other bedroom.
House #1 Crow: A covered patio, steps away from the cove, surrounded by forest and adventure in all directions Crow has a shared bathroom. On the ground floor, this room is perfect for a family with a full bed on the main floor and two xl twins in the loft.
House #2 Bear: An upstairs room with a queen bed and twin bunk beds plus a private bath. It has a view of the grounds, a peek of the cove & is surrounded by lush forest.
House #2 Moose: A ground floor room with two full beds plus a private bath with shower.
2021: $2500/night Fri, Sat, Sun
(some exceptions apply during peak weeks)
plus 8% tax plus $1750 refundable damage deposit
Minimum stay 3 nights
50% deposit plus $750 non-refundable commitment fee due at time of booking
Balance due 60 days in advance
$750 commitment fee is totally non-refundable
Cancellations made more than 120 days in advance will receive a 50% refund
Cancellations made between 120-60 days in advance will receive a 25% refund
Cancellations less than 60 days in advance are totally non-refundable
Cancellation insurance is available and is recommended

• MID STAY CLEANING REQUESTS GLADLY ACCEPTED
FOR AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE OF $25.00 per room/$50.00 with bed change.
• Towel service policy: complimentary laundered towel service provided after a three day stay when requested. If you would like towels laundered prior to that, the cost is $5.00 per set of towels, charged to your room.
We live in a peaceful place. Please be mindful of our neighbors, other guests and limit activities and noise that would be disruptive.
We live in a wild place. It goes without saying that bears, moose and other wildlife do not have boundaries and wander Alaska, including the Viking Cove Guest Home property. Please be aware of your surroundings while you enjoy Alaska. Do not leave anything out that might attract animals (garbage, bait, fish, etc.). Be respectful of any wild animals' space and do not approach, for your safety and theirs.
Anyone engaging in risky behavior or causing injury to themselves, others or damages to property is personally liable and financially responsible for any injury or damages incurred.
Viking Cove accommodates a total of twenty (20) overnight guests for your gathering, reunion or business group needs. Please feel free to ask about other lovely Haines venues nearby if you need accommodations in excess of this number.
